Weiser 數碼鎖的重新設置

最近我家的Weiser數碼鎖不好用了，鎖的時候，好像是鎖閂來回活動有一種阻力，結果從外面無法開鎖和關鎖，從屋裡手動鎖門也十分吃力。

我以為是鎖閂的問題，我拆開鎖，給鎖閂加了機油，重新裝回去，還是不解決問題。我到HomeDepot，幾年前從那買的，也沒有找到鎖閂配件。

一天，我靈機一動，想到直接與Weiser聯繫，看是否能得到幫助。

從Weiser官方網站上，我提出一個產品幫助的請求，描述了我的問題。

不久，收到電郵，產家建立一個問題case，有專人進一步瞭解和確認我的產品，我按照要求發去鎖的前後照片。

很快得到答復。廠方專家給我一些步驟，重新設置。我按照步驟，果然，我的鎖可以非常絲滑地工作啦！

這裡是步驟，特存在本博客里，以備將來再出現問題時，可以重新設置。

1. Open the door and manually lock it. Make sure the key is not inserted into the cylinder.
2. Remove the battery cover and the battery pack
3. Press and release the program button five times
4. Press all the buttons on the exterior keypad, including the lock button
5. Press and hold the lock button on the exterior keypad and drop the battery pack back in
6. If successful, the latch will retract halfway and extend to the locked position
7. With the door open, test the lock/unlock function

If the latch does not move, try these additional troubleshooting steps:

1. Keep the door open and the latch extended in the locked position
2. Remove the battery pack
3. Press and hold the Program button. While holding the Program Button, drop the batteries back into the lock
4. Keep holding the Program button for 3 seconds.
5. Press and release the Program button once more
6. The LED should flash red and green, and the latch will retract halfway and extend to the locked position if successful
7. With the door open, test the lock/unlock function
